Talk to your Homie via the chat on our website. Tell us what you need — a plumber, a boiler service, a decorator — and we either give you a trusted contact directly or handle the whole booking for you. We find the contractor, confirm availability, book the job, and follow up afterwards.

Yes. Residents who join during our Abbeville Village launch get free membership. You can access the contractor directory and chat for free. Full membership — including group buys, members' rates, priority response and the full concierge service — is free for founding members.

Homie is currently operating in Abbeville Village SW4, starting on Elms Road. We are expanding to more streets across the neighbourhood over the coming months.

Talk to your Homie at HomieSW4.co.uk. We have a vetted network of local contractors including plumbers who already work in SW4. Members get priority response and preferential rates. For emergencies we aim to get someone to you as fast as possible.

Yes. For home emergencies — burst pipes, no heating, electrical faults, locked out — Homie members get priority contractor response. Tell your Homie what's happening and we'll get someone to you as quickly as possible.

Every contractor on our network is personally recommended by a member or vetted by Homie directly. We don't list anyone we wouldn't use ourselves. Contractors maintain their place by consistently delivering value and quality to members — if they let a resident down, they lose access to the whole neighbourhood.

Checkatrade and MyBuilder are directories where you search, compare and contact tradespeople yourself. Homie is a concierge — you tell us what you need and we handle everything. Our contractors are personally vetted and known to the neighbourhood, not anonymous listings. We also organise group bookings that get you better prices than any directory can offer.

A group buy is when Homie organises multiple households on the same street to book the same service together. Because we bring more volume to a contractor at once — say 10–15 boiler services on the same road in the same day — we negotiate a better price than any individual household could. Current group buys include boiler services, window cleaning and wheelie bin cleaning.

Full membership includes: group buy access at members-only prices, preferential rates with our contractor network, priority contractor response (especially valuable for emergencies), seasonal reminders so nothing gets forgotten, local recommendations and exclusive deals, and the full concierge service.
